Total Request Live is ending its run on MTV after 10 years.

Dave Sirulnick, who is the executive producer of “TRL,” said today that Monday the music video countdown show will conclude in a two-hour special on a Saturday afternoon in November. However, he said that the show wasn’t ending for good, but that it’s time for a bit of a break.
TRL debuted back in 1998 – an era where the Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears dominated the music videos and radio. And I remember the good ol’ days when the show was first called Total Request and it wasn’t live, and Carson Daly was the host.
Man – I’d go back in a second!
Looks like there’s a new Brenda Walsh in town!
Degrassi star and newcomer to the world’s most famous zip code, Shenae Grimes, is apparently not the greatest person to work with.
Shenae, who plays Annie Wilson, has reportedly been “tormenting everyone on set.” And that includes the cast, crew, extras, etc. The reason? “This is my show – everyone else is riding my coattails.”

No one knows who the hell you are sweetie (except maybe me because I’m addicted to The N network at home.) But regardless, you shouldn’t bite the hand that feeds you.
And on top of that, the ratings for 90210 dropped significantly the second week. Are you sure you want to call it “your show?”

Maybe the name Punk will ring a bell. He was a contestant on I Love New York 2, that trashy ass show with the even trashier Tiffany “New York” Pollard that I can’t seem to get enough of.
The couple have been dating less than a year, and before him, Jennifer broke up with her hometown love of like. . a million years.
I wonder how he feels, knowing that his Academy Award winning ex is now engaged to a dude kicked off I Love New York 2. Ha.
Eh – to his defense, I think he was the smartest guy on that show. He’s the one who went to Harvard, right?
Shia LaBeouf is still recovering from the car accident that nearly cost him his hand.
“The car hit me at 70 m.p.h.,” he tells Entertainment Tonight. “It was one of the biggest things that’s happened to me, for sure, in my life. I’m grateful to be here.”
Well, we’re happy too, but Shia also said that he’s expecting another surgery soon. “I’m working right now. We propped [my hand] together so I could get through Transformers and then I’ll go have another surgery and be back to 100 percent.”
At the time of the accident, Shia was cited for misdemeanor DUI. Sgt. Scott Wolf told People, “He was showing obvious signs of intoxication from the smell of alcohol coming from his breath.” Although he has yet to be formally charged with the crime, new evidence arose on behalf of the actor; he may not have been at fault because the other driver was found to have run a red light.
Lucky break, my friend.

Yea, the Duff has two Greatest Hits album and she’s not even 21 yet.

Olympian Michael Phelps hosted the 34th season premiere of Saturday Night Live this past Saturday, and boy did we tune in to see his sexy bod! Bam chicka wah wah.
It debuted with a 7.4 rating/18 share in the metered markets. The highest local-market average for an SNL season premiere since back in 2001. The 34th season opener also saw an increase of 64% from one year earlier on Sept. 29th with a 4.5/11.
Maybe it was the Tina Fey/Sarah Palin & Amy Poehler/Hillary Clinton skit too.

According to her rep, Christina Applegate has returned the work on her hit ABC comedy Samantha Who?
As you know, Christina underwent a voluntary double mastectomy in July after being diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 36. The surgery was a huge success, and she has said that she is cancer free.
She appeared on the fundraising program Stand Up to Cancer on September 5, which raised more than $100 million in donations, and is expected to be a presenter at the Emmy’s this Sunday evening. And yes, she’s nominated for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
The second season of Samantha Who? airs on October 13.
As I’m sure you all know already by reading this blog – I’m the BIGGEST Britney Spears fan. I absolutely adore her. With that being said, I woke up this morning to some fantastic news!
BritBrit’s new album, Circus, is due to hit stores on December 2, her 27th birthday! And, even better for us Britney fans, the first single off the album, “Womanizer” (produced by up-and-coming Atlanta production team The Outsyders), is set to be released on September 22 – aka NEXT WEEK!
Annnnnd, I’m jumping for joy here!
Other producers featured on the upcoming album are: Danja, Dr. Luke (writer-producer of the title track, “Circus”), Bloodshy & Avant and Guy Sigsworth – who’s collaborated with Madonna and Alanis Morissette.
