BREAKING NEWS: DJ AM Found Dead! August 28, 2009

It has been confirmed that DJ AM (real name Adam Goldstein) has passed away. He was 36-years-old.

His body was discovered by the NYPD earlier today, and it looks as though he died from an apparent drug overdose.

He recently made headlines last September after he and Travis Barker of Blink-182 survived a fatal plane crash.

On August 25, DJ AM wrote on his Twitter, “New york, new york. Big city of dreams, but everything in new york aint always what it seems.” This would be his final form of public communication.

According to NBC New York, “DJ AM had not been heard from for a few days, and one of his friends went to check on him, but got no response after knocking on his apartment door, law-enforcement sources said. The friend then called the police, who broke into the apartment and found the DJ’s body.”

And according to reports, DJ AM was reportedly suffering from depression after trying to stop taking medication after the plane crash. He was found wearing sweatpants and no shirt, and prescription drugs and a crack pipe were found at the scene. Bottles of pills were found in both the bedroom and the kitchen.

DJ AM also recently wrapped up a reality show for MTV about drug addiction.

This is all so terrible. I can’t even begin to fatho the thought that this man who survived a fatal plane crash almost a year ago is dead today.

RIP DJ AM. You’ll be missed.

Fall Out Boy Frontman Arrested! August 27, 2009

No, it’s not Pete Wentz.

Lead singer Patrick Stump of the band Fall Out Boy was arrested early Wednesday morning in Los Angeles on an outstanding traffic violation. And he has a sweeeeet mugshot.

According to L.A. Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore, LAPD pulled Stump over and after running his record, they discovered a 2007 warrant issued for his arrest for driving without a license.

He was taken into custody and was held for four hours before being bailed out.

“This is all very routine,” Whitmore told E! News. “He had to post bail. Actually he got bonded out very quickly.”

There’s no word about why Stump got pulled over in the first place. The LAPD were probably bored.

Johnny Knoxville to Have Another Baby! August 18, 2009

Johnny Knoxville, (the secret love of my life) and star of the show Jackass, is expecting baby number two with girlfriend Naomi Nelson.

Nelson, who is three months along, has been dating Knoxville for almost a year.

“Yes, they are expecting and very excited,” his rep told US Weekly.

Knoxville already has a 13-year-old daughter Madison with ex-wife Melanie Clapp. The couple separated in July 2006 and Knoxville filed for divorce a year later citing irreconciable differences.

Celebrity Sex Tape Alert: It’s McSteamy! August 17, 2009

UPDATE: Marty Singer, the couple’s rep, told TMZ.com that he will sue anyone who publishes the “private, confidential tape,” adding that “from what I’ve seen, it’s a naked tape, not a sex tape.”

Seriously?

Normally I find celebrity sex tapes to be annoying and less than thrilling. However, a sex tape featuring the HOT HOT HOT Eric Dane (McSteamy from Grey’s Anatomy), his wife, actress Rebecca Gayheart, and former Miss Teen USA (2002) turned apparent Hollywood “madame” Kari Ann Pinache.

A 12 minute edited sneak of the tape can be found at Gawker. And in the video, the threesome (insert schoolgirl giggle here) appear to be quite inebriated. At one point, Gayheart even exclaims she has to lay down because she’s so high.

Oh. Like you haven’t been there.

They also strut about Pinache’s apartment naked, passing the camera around, all the while discussing what their porn star names would be. Should Dane take on a career in porn, his name would be: Tuff Hedeman. Then they obviously make their way over to the bathroom where the two chicks disrobe, hop in the jacuzzi, and hand off the camera to Dane.

Sounds peachy.

Director John Hughes Dies! August 6, 2009

BREAKING NEWS: Director John Hughes, known for movies such as Sixteen Candles, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and The Breakfast Club, died today in Manhattan at 59, said his spokeswoman.

Michelle Bega said Hughes died of a heart attack during a morning walk. He was in Manhattan to visit family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones. This is so terrible.

Rumor Has It…

An official Disney source has told me that not one, but two of the Jonas Brothers are gay.

I certainly don’t have a problem with gays, but I think they should come out and own it and be proud of who they are.

Which two is it? I wouldn’t count Kevin out just because he’s engaged. Look back at Rock Hudson, my loves.

So who is this Disney source of mine? I’ll never tell. But he/she was on a very popular Disney show not too long ago, so he/she has the inside scoop.

Just for the record – I don’t have anything against the Jonas Brothers.

Britney Spears Performing at Teen Choice Awards!

My girl Britney Spears will be performing at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards. But not only is she performing, she will be receiving a very special award.

BritBrit, who has more Teen Choice Surfboards than any other female artist, will be honored with the ultimate award for her “extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry,” FOX says in a statement.

This year, she’s nominated for choice music single, choice female artist, choice music tour.

The Teen Choice Awards air on FOX Monday, Aug. 10, at 8 p.m.

More “Scream 4” News!

It looks as though fans of the Scream franchise will be getting a new trilogy! Writer Kevin Williamson is still working on the script, but he also released the following details regarding the film:

[Exec. Producer] Bob Weinstein has been bugging me a hundred billion years, “Let’s do it. Let’s do it.” Wes [Craven] and I were like “no way.” Then finally I was taking some time off, sitting around thinking “what if I had to do Scream 4?” I wasn’t interested, [but then I thought] “a trilogy – now I’d be interested! Could we do that and develop a trilogy?” and then I started thinking about the story. I created three different chapters, broke it up and I got really excited.”

Scream 4 is going to pick up 10 years after Scream 3 (which is fitting because Scream 3 came out nearly 10 years ago), but director Wes Craven has yet to sign on to the flick. Williamson, though, doesn’t believe that this will be a problem:

“Wes is a director who wants to read the script before he commits. And I think that’s kind of where it sits right now. But I believe that with Courteney and David [Arquette] and me and the gang all back together again… Just from an emotional standpoint I don’t see how he can pass it up, because I just think it would be too much fun for him. Because nothing has been more fun than making those movies. It’s a family, and I think we agree that we can’t go back and have a family without Dad at the head of the table. So I have a feeling that we’re going to make him go. Between me, Courteney and David, we’re gonna make him do it.”

Williamson also confirmed that Neve Campbell and Jamie Kennedy will NOT be returning to reprise their roles as Sidney and Randy (even though Randy died in Scream 2).
