The highly anticpated new show by Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel..) titled Dollhouse is taken a bit of a break for now.
Dollhouse, which stars Joss favorite Eliza Dushku is about a “secret agent” who works for an agency that imprints memories and personalities into its agents, who are then hired out. Most of these agents are unaware of what has happened, but ultimately, Dushku finds out that she is a secret agent as well.
Plot aside, the reason Whedon decided to put a hault to production is because he wasn’t happy with the scripts. So, he shut down production to do some rewrites.
Not a bad reason to shelve a show momentarily. After the success of Buffy (which was totally a favorite of mine) and Angel, I’m VERRRRYYYYY interested to see Dollhouse.
