Kevin Jonas ENGAGED! July 1, 2009

The oldest Jonas brother, Kevin Jonas, 21, is engaged to his girlfriend of two years, Danielle Deleasa, 22. Jonas, a New Jersey native, flew overnight from Vancouver to Jersey (where Deleasa is also from), and proposed to her at her doorstep.

“Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage,” said parents Denise and Kevin Jonas Sr. said in a statement. “Her answer was yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date.”

Jonas proposed with a ring he codesigned with Jacob & Co.

I can hear all the girls screaming and crying now. Well.. it’s not like Nick or Joe got engaged.

Hilary Duff Joins Gossip Girl! July 1, 2009

Hilary Duff has joined the cast of Gossip Girl as Olivia Burke, a movie star who will be attending NYU in hopes of receiving a traditional college experience.

And here’s a zinger – she’ll be playing Vanessa’s roommate!

For all of those who don’t remember, Blair, Vanessa, and Dan have all been accepted to NYU. And it’s being rumored that Olivia will serve as anew love interest for Dan. Ohhhh boy.

Duff’s episode airs October 5, so I guess we’ll all just have to wait and see.
