Us Weekly has an exclusive!! Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis, Kim Cattrall, and Cynthia Nixon have agreed to appear in the sequel!

No contracts have been signed yet because this literally just happened. But an insider notes that there will be a hefty pay raise for the four leading ladies.

Back in September, SJP told Us Weekly, “It’s all about the story. If we can’t tell a story that’s really worthy of an audience, then we won’t do it. We’ve been really lucky at this point. We’ve been in people’s good graces for a long time, and we take that very seriously. So that’s the biggest challenge, the story.”

Ahh this is exciting!

Sources close to the show said that George Clooney will indeed appear on the show before the series ends for good later this year. He is expected to film his scenes today and tomorrow.

And not only that, but Julianna Margulies will reprise her role again as well.

An insider told Life & Style, “They are the last two of the original cast to make one last appearance,” the insider says. “It’s part of an effort to wrap up all of the original characters’ story lines.”

The final episode will air on April 2.

Peace Out 24! January 20, 2009

LEISURE EMMYS

Yes 24 fans. The end is near for Jack Bauer.

Kiefer Sutherland has revealed in an interview that audiences should expect only one more season of the hit show. And that’s it.

And to put a cherry on top of that news, he also said that fans shouldn’t expect a fairytale ending for Mr. Bauer.

“I see Jack as a really human figure and there is something innately tragic about people,” he says. “I think there is no winning. We’re all going to die. There’s something kind of sad in that, and yet there’s something really beautiful and hopeful.”

BUT. Perhaps there’s a silver lining, because producers of the show say that Jack Bauer may return in a film once the show ends.

Notorious-ly Violent. January 20, 2009

Like many people around the country, I caught a showing of the Notorious B.I.G. film Notorious.

However, a few violent (and unfortunate) events have erupted at showings of the film:

Four people were stabbed at a Brooklyn, NY post-screening party, and a 32-year old man was shot in the abdomen during a sold out opening of the biopic on Friday night in Greensboro, NC.

Scarily enough, Jamal Woodard, who plays B.I.G. in the film, was at the North Carolina showing of the film at the time of the shooting. And sadly, the movie was dropped from the Greensboro theater’s lineup.

Seeeeriously everyone. If this movie has any message, it’s that violence is NEVER the answer.

Drama With Britney’s New Single! January 20, 2009

Music Britney Spears

Word on the street is that Britney Spears & team have to re-name her single “If You Seek Amy” because it says a not-so-nice-thing. Say the title very slowly.

Radio stations have said that they would ban the single if the name of the song isn’t changed.

So what have they decided on?…  “If You See Amy”

Because that makes sense. Hell, in the song she sings, “All of the boys and all of the girls are begging to if you seek amy.” Like people won’t catch on.

Oh snap!!

Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake had a close encounter at a West Hollywood restaurant Monday night.

JT was in the middle of a late-night dinner with main squeeze Jessica Biel, and BritBrit was there with her mother.

An onlooker told Us Weekly that “Jessica looked gorgeous,” but Britney didn’t look the best, but she probably thought no one would see her, as this restaurant isn’t usually a hot spot.”

Another onlooker added: “Jessica and Justin looked to be slumping down in their seats to avoid [Spears]. She left 30 minutes later. Shortly afterward, Justin and Jessica got in their car and left.”
