Leighton Meester Talks to Teen Vogue! December 19, 2008

My favorite on Gossip Girl, Leighton Meester’s upcoming new album (due next spring) will be very exciting.

“The music is very fun,” she told Teen Vogue. “It’s edgy, like electro-pop rather than bubblegum, and you can dance to it.”

She also discusses her GG co-stars, well, one in particular: Ed Westwick. “[He] is my favorite actor to work with, we have really good chemistry.”

AND she also addresses the fact that she was born to a mother who later served time in jail:

“I wouldn’t have volunteered that information, but I’ve never kept it a secret either. It’s just not my past; it’s not my story to tell. I wasn’t born in jail; I was born in a hospital,” she stresses. “I lived with my mother for a few months in a halfway house, and then I went to stay with my grandmother for a few more before my mom got out. But I had a normal life.”

Paris Hilton’s Home Broken Into… December 19, 2008

A man wearing a hooded sweatsirt broke into Paris Hilton’s home early this morning, and left with milions of dollars worth of jewelry.

LAPD spokeswoman Julie Sohn told People, “At around 5 a.m. Friday, officers received a call from a security guard who reported that Paris Hilton’s residence had been broken into. According to detectives, a man wearing a hooded sweatshirt and gloves forced entry through the front door, ransacked her bedroom, took unknown property and fled.”

The man made off with an estimated $2 million worth of jewelry, and detectives are currently investigating. Luckily, Paris wasn’t home at the time of the break in, but let’s hope she gets her jewelry returned to her asap!

Fergie and Josh Duhamel Set the Date! December 19, 2008

It’s about damn time, especially since rumors are floating around that she’s preggers.

Fergie and Josh Duhamel are set to tie the knot on January 10 in Los Angeles. The couple were recently spotted at Crate & Barrel shopping for some stuff for their kitchen.

But more importantly, check out the guest list: Fergie’s Nine (her upcoming film) co-stars Kate Hudson and Nicole Kidman.

Okay, well, just two people so far, but I wouldn’t exactly mind having Kate and Nicole at my wedding…
