Direct a Video For Usher! December 16, 2008

Aw, this makes me happy – Usher being all nice and friendly.

The new dad wants YOU, well, teenagers, to direct a music video for his new album, which is due out next year.

“It gives me another way to give back, inspire young people and also reinvent music videos,” he said in a statement.

If you’re between the ages of 13-18, then apply at Got-Noise.com. But hurry, you only have until January 31. Then, in March, 20 finalists will be flown to Los Angeles where they’ll have a week to work in two teams directly with their star to conceptualize and create their videos. Both videos will debut in April, and fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite.

Winners of the contest, which is sponsored by Body by Milk, will receive Usher concert tickets, Apple laptops and editing software.

Not too shabby, huh?

Pete Wentz Talks About His Sex Life! December 16, 2008

I’m actually growing tired of Pete Wentz and his charades. Whatever.

He gave QUITE the raunchy interview to Howard Stern about he and wife Ashlee Simpson’s sex life, all while promoting Fall Out Boy’s new album Folie a Deux. Here are the quotes, I’m a tad disturbed by all of this actually:

• “We have an amazing sex life. We have such sexual chemistry. If we had been on this show last year, we’d probably be doing it in the green room right now. Hopefully the kid doesn’t change it.”

The couple currently don’t have sex — “the kid’s [a few] weeks old,” he explained — but “we do other fun stuff.”

• The first time they hooked up was “the single best sexual encounter I have ever had. It was at the Soho Grand Hotel [in New York City], and I’m looking in the mirrors, [thinking], ‘Oh my God, you are [sleeping with] the girl of your dreams, and you can watch yourself!’”

• Ashlee “loves giving me lap dances. She gives a mean lap dance.” She wears thongs and “sexy clothes,” he noted. Normally she wears a C-cup “but with breast milk, [she's] a D.” She weighed “up to 150 [lbs.]” while pregnant, he revealed, but “it’s dropped nicely … it’s blazing off her.”

He also revealed that while he thinks of Jessica Simpson as his sister, he wouldn’t have ruled out a threesome with the Simpson sisters “20 years back.”

Ugh. Real classy, Pete, tmi.

Ryan Phillippe to Spend Christmas With New GF! December 16, 2008

Ryan Phillippe is spending the holidays Down Under with his whore girlfriend Abbie Cornish, the woman who came between him and his ex-wife, a little actress named Reese Witherspoon.

She’s apparently very excited to bring him home to Australia. “It’s wonderful!” she told reporters Tuesday at a party in Sydney celebrating Calvin Klein’s summer 2009 collection.

I suppose it’s fair, since Abbie spent Thanksgiving with Ryan and his family up in Delaware.

Ryan’s kids Ava and Deacon will be spending the holidays with mom and her bf Jake Gyllenhaal, definitely the hotter significant other!

Scarlett Jo Wants to Record Second Album! December 16, 2008

I love Scarlett Johansson as much as the next person, but I don’t know if I could take another album of her monotone voice.

Ms. Jo told MTV News that she’d like to record another album, only this time, she’d like to record her own material and not a cover album. Her last album was a cover of Tom Waits songs. BUT, if she were to record another album of covers, she’d choose Leonard Cohen.

However, this will have to wait, as she’s focusing on her new life as a wife and as an actress.

Good idea.

Naomi Watts Gives Birth! December 16, 2008

Yes, yes, I’m sure you all know already, but I wanted to wait to post this until the name was announced.

But Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber have welcomed their second son into the world. Samuel Kai Schreiber was born on Saturday.

And baby makes four. The couple have another son, Alexander Pete, who was born in July 2007.

It’s nice to know that a Hollywood couple can still name their children something normal. Much like the Afflecks.
