Will Ferrell will be making his debut on Broadway in January with a self-written show called You’re Welcome America. A Final Night with George W. Bush.

It will be autobiographical, include anecdotes about his work on SNL and he’ll be doing some his infamous impersonations.

Obviously, people over at HBO jumped at this opportunity because it will air a live telecast of the show in the spring.

The Broadway show will begin with previews on January 20th at the Cort Theater on Inauguration Day, and will officially open on February 5th. It’s expected to go thru March 15.

What up Ferrell! I’m totally buying tickets to this!

Okay, I honestly thought they would last, but…

Private Practice and ex-Grey’s Anatomy actress Kate Walsh and her hubby Alex Young are calling it quits after 15 months of marriage.

According to court papers, it was Alex who filed for divorce on November 22, citing the usual “irreconcilable differences.”

“The couple remain on friendly terms and sincerely hope the media will respect their privacy during this difficult time,” the pair said in a statement Thursday.

The duo met in February 2007, got engaged three months later, and wed just four months after that.

A bit of a rush, dontcha think?

Aniston Bares It All on GQ Cover December 11, 2008

Okay seriously.. Jennifer Aniston is way hotter than Skankelina Jolie. JA is so cool…

Here’s what she says about her beau John Mayer:

  • “I am not having his baby. And I have not popped the question.”
  • “Honestly, did not know much about him before I met him. I’d heard … you know, uh ‘Your Body’ – that song. But what I can say is that I had no idea what an extraordinary musician he is. And it’s just great to sit and be witness to that. It’s kind of like, Whoa!”

On the homewrecker:

  • “The funny thing is, people don’t realize we all go away to The Hamptons on the weekends. That’d be hysterical: I’ve got Zahara on my hip, and Knox …”

On her new film Pumas, which she describes as a “female Wedding Crashers“:

  • “It is so a comment on the sexual double standard, and what’s been ironic is how hard it’s been to get this movie made. Studios want it, but they are afraid of Middle America. They’d want to change it; they’re saying, ‘Oh, you can’t do that, people just can’t imagine you …”
  • “Look, I think all women on some level just want to rage against the machine. There are too many movies out there that don’t empower women, movies in which their only way of being happy is finding a man. And you know, that’s not my favorite theme.”

LOVE HER!

Brit’s Son Interrupts Message to Fans! December 11, 2008

Filed under: Britney Spears, Other Gossip News — Alexandra @ 3:44 pm

So cute! Little Jayden burps during BritBrit’s season’s greetings. Haha.

In other gossip news:

  • Usher and his wife Tameka welcomed baby number 2, a son named Naviyd Ely. The couple have another son, Usher V, who turned 1 last month.
  • Almost 3 million copies of The Dark Knight have already been purchased on DVD in the U.S., Canada, and Britain since its release on Tuesday (aka TWO DAYS AGO).
  • Tom Cruise has lost his BlackBerry! It’s roaming around Canada somewhere. OH WELL.
  • Rumors of a Gossip Girl spin-off were circulating, and it looks as though none of the “teen” characters will be involved in the spin-off. Instead, it’s said to focus on a young Lily (Serena’s mom) and Rufus. New actors will be hired to play these roles.
  • PerezHilton posted a Blind Item on an up-and-coming actor who got a 23-year-old waitress preggers. And it’s been revealed (finally) that the baby daddy is one of my many boyfriends, Cam Gigandet, of Twilight fame. Apparently the woman is his ex-gf that he dumped after filming the movie and she’s five months along. I wonder if she got pregnant on purpose now that he’s famous… just a thought.
  • In sad news, Macaulay Culkin’s 29-year-old sister Dakota was killed last night when she was hit by a car after stepping off a curb in LA. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Culkin family during this difficult time.
